"Listen to them, the children of the night. What music they make!" - Dracula (Bram Stoker)

 The House of Pianos tells the story of Patricia Atkins, a once renown concert pianist, now in her 90's and suffering from dementia but still living in her beloved slightly crumbling mansion (Hammerton House). Her son employs a live in carer/nurse for his mother's needs. Seen through the eyes of the carer, strange occurrences soon start to emerge in a house that holds one too many secrets.
